With simple form and unparalleled strength, this coffee table is an elegant addition to any home.  The top is handcrafted with gorgeous premium rift-sawn white oak that rests on a squared white oak base, for a timeless design that is also built to last the ages.  The table shown here is finished with a varnish that is environmentally friendly and safe.  This table can also be built with reclaimed oak, with cracks and imperfections, for added unique character.  Please inquire about different wood options, and we will be happy to work with you to create your perfect custom coffee table.

FAQ

What are the lead times?

We are currently at 10-12 weeks standard from day of deposit. Express options are available upon request. 

What is the best finish?

There's no wrong answer here. We stand by each finish we offer, either a natural oil or varnish finish. Each finish has advantages and disadvantages and depends on your lifestyle and needs.

Here at the wood-shop we always like to recommend a natural oil/wax finish. Timeless, classic, natural feeling and color of the wood. With an oil finish, you can repair any damaged area yourself. Natural oil does require maintenance on the client's end. Extra coats of oil early on helps protect the wood for decades to come. With varnish, there is zero maintenance on your end, but similar to your floors or cabinets, if the varnish is scratched, it cannot be repaired. 

Do we template and/or install?

Yes we do both! 

Can I choose a different edge?

Yes, we have several edge profiles to choose from. All of our edge profiles can be seen at this link here.

Can I change the design?

Yes, most of our designs are customizable in respect to the wood type, finish, edging, etc. Please send us an inquiry at the link here for more information and to receive a custom quote.
