Description
Pelham Bench
$225.00 sq. ft.
Made from our classic old oak with rich color and character, this bench is heavy and solid. With over 120 years of use, this wood has deep brown tones and markings that will enhance any interior. The reclaimed oak bench shown here has a lambda metal base design, hand crafted in our shop with satin black powder coat finish. Other metal finish options are also available here . The top is hand coated with oil/wax finish for an easy to maintain finish. Typical bench width is 15 inches, and height 18-19″. If purchasing with a table, we recommend a bench length of about 14-15 inches less than the table to tuck it under. The same length of table will maximize seating yet not be able to tuck underneath the table.

FAQ
We are currently at 10-12 weeks standard from day of deposit. Express options are available upon request.
There's no wrong answer here. We stand by each finish we offer, either a natural oil or varnish finish. Each finish has advantages and disadvantages and depends on your lifestyle and needs.
Here at the wood-shop we always like to recommend a natural oil/wax finish. Timeless, classic, natural feeling and color of the wood. With an oil finish, you can repair any damaged area yourself. Natural oil does require maintenance on the client's end. Extra coats of oil early on helps protect the wood for decades to come. With varnish, there is zero maintenance on your end, but similar to your floors or cabinets, if the varnish is scratched, it cannot be repaired.
