A classic coffee table designed originally for the “This Old House” TV series. Made from 100% reclaimed wood, this lumber is over 200yrs old. Legs and apron are hand made from the same wood, giving the entire table uniform color.
The design shown here has cut thru style legs whereby the top has the corners cut out allowing the legs to come all the way up to the surface.
Please note* we caution against this styled design/feature, as it is not recommended from a woodworker point of view. Tables expand and contract seasonally, and the leg will inhibit the lateral movement and cause damage on the wood surface and/or leg. If this design is absolutely desired, we would recommend leaving a gap between the table leg surface to allow room for movement.
