Andover Coffee Table

A classic coffee table designed originally for the “This Old House” TV series. Shown here made from 100% reclaimed oak wood, this lumber is over 200yrs old. Legs and apron are hand made from the same wood, giving the entire table uniform color. This wood is special ordered, so please reach out if interested. Rustic White Oak is similar, but more consistent in color. The design shown here has cut thru style legs whereby the top has the corners cut out allowing the legs to come all the way up to the surface.
Please note* we caution against the cut-thru legs feature, as it is not recommended from a woodworker point of view. Tables expand and contract seasonally, and the leg will inhibit the lateral movement and cause damage on the wood surface and/or leg. If this design is absolutely desired, we would recommend leaving a gap between the table leg surface to allow room for movement.
